Sales and Product Management Digital Platform Marketing product line is responsible for the IT solutions that supports integration and optimization across the fuels value chain from crude to customer to maximize through our world-class Chevron, Texaco, & Caltex brands. Marketing product line supports Point of sale, Retail Credit/Debit Card and Loyalty processing systems, Web, Mobile App and Marketing Automation technologies used to market our Chevron, Texaco and Caltex Fuels, Lubricants and Chemicals globally. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Provide oversight for 75
application in Marketing Product Line, establish cloud migration strategy, and modernization. Analyzes technology environments, designs, and creates solution architecture models & prototypes, participates in technology selection, solution development and delivering business differentiating retail solutions. Defines marketing technology and architecture for the business unit that aligns with Chevron's digital vision and strategy. Develop and lead retail technology modernization and strategic roadmap development that is in alignment with our business value streams by leveraging agile architecture process & principles Designs retail solutions that offer highly reliable, scalable and secure operations. Supports and fulfills new architecture and technology needs working closely with Platform Architect, Product Owners, business unit leaders, IT teams, and external vendors. Architects integrated, secure, and resilient Retail IT solutions leveraging technologies such as:
Azure platform & services like Web Apps, Function Apps, App Gateway, IoT Hub, Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage and APIM, C, C#, Java, JavaScrip, API service-oriented solutions, ISO, JSON, XML,Power BI Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or in any engineering field required- 5
years of work experience as Architect (Oil & Gas Marketing and Retail preferred) Experience in defining a technology strategy that supports the business strategic goals, optimizing the long term value attainment and a reduction of technical debt required. Track record for delivering the architecture of a large organization and demonstrated ability to execute to the architectural plan Preferred
Qualifications:
Retail & mobile payment and loyalty systems knowledge. Knowledge of POS, back office, 3rd party cards interfaces, and settlement processing Understanding and experience in modern marketing engagement systems including but not limited to:
web, content management systems, mobile apps marketing automation Retail service station/convenience site systems knowledge Exposure to various retail electronic payments systems IT Infrastructure and Cloud application development & hosting Hands-on working experience with architecture tools & technologies. Excellent communication skills - should be able to articulate complex technical data that is easily understandable by a wide variety audience like junior technical resources, business partners, non-IT stakeholders. Demonstrated Leadership Skills Some level of understanding/knowledge in Legacy technologies like Tandem/HP Non-Stop (S Series and TNS/EItanium); TAL, C, COBOL, SCOBOL, TACL, Non-Stop SQL, escribe is desirable. Experience working within a Scrum team using SAFe methodology
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
