POSITION SUMMARY TRC is seeking a Safety Specialist with our Permitting, Planning and Licensing team in San Ramon, CA. This position will be working on-site in ourSan Ramon, CAoffice. Our Manager, Health & Safety will be fully integrated with our on-site and field staff, providing a high level of support to our employees. This job is responsible for working with the corporate safety team to support the development and administration of safety/health policies, programs, and work practices that comply with safety/health regulations and prevent employee injuries and illnesses. Employees in this role advise management on matters which affect conformance to current and proposed OSHA Safety/Health Standards in addition to company and client expectations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Partners with Office Practice Leaders and supervisors to conduct field safety training and complete incident analysis and ensure the chain of command is notified. Provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) input on incident analysis and provides consultation and guidance on corrective action development. Ensures completion of corrective actions. Ensures mutual collaboration with all levels of the organization regarding safety (management, field employees, support staff, etc.). Serves as a liaison between the technical and practical aspect of safety and ensure implementation into the line of business. Frequently shares safety information to all in an impactful and results oriented way. Communicates safety trends and recommends safety corrective actions. Mentors supervisors on safety process and applicable programs. Delivers safety training content for company or provided by client. Utilizes safety trend analysis to identify and mitigate actions to correct gaps. Introduce and implement innovative solutions with impact to correct gaps. Communicates opportunities for improvement. Create safety action plans to strategize approach and provide guidance in development. Serve as a resource for the development, implementation, and sustainability of the various companywide initiatives. (Culture, safe catch, ergonomics, etc.) Administers safety/health training programs required for employees to perform their job responsibilities safely, inclusive of the safety onboarding process for new staff. Provides technical guidance to Practices on occupational safety/health. Assists in developing and enforcing safety rules and standard operating procedures. Ensures compliance of all contractor safety-related activities. Ensures the completion of all OSHA mandated training. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Experience:
8
years progressive experience in industrial, utility, or other construction industry. Preferred:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or its equivalent in education and experience CSP-Certified Safety Professional CHST-Construction Health and Safety Technologist certification OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer TRC is an equal opportunity employer:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Environmental EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
