Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Accounting Associate.
This position is located in San Ramon, CA and will be responsible for the Financial Month End processes, AR Billing, AP invoices, and Raw Materials Inventory Management for functions for Aggregates and HMA operations.

Accounts Payable function for aggregates and asphalt;Process vendor invoices and purchase orders on a daily basis;Work with purchasing to update vendor accounts as needed;Input data entry into JDE-Raw Materials Inventory Management system and reconcile on a monthly basis;Stay in communication with the HMA plant manager/ purchasing for current oil and hauler rates;Maintaining fuel inventory and data entry in JDE system and reconcile on a monthly basis;Prepare monthly accruals and check for validity; Work with SSC accountant on SAP monthly accruals;Meeting Month-End close and billing deadlines, good attendance is crucial;Gather required information to close out investment projects (AFEs) and Fixed Assets;Communicate with Shared Service Center (SSC) on a routine basis;Responsible for performing special projects as assigned by the Supervisor;Who we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance, or Associate degree or equivalent industry experience;Minimum of 1-3 years of experience;Basic knowledge in accounting and accounting systemsProficient in Microsoft Office applications;Effective oral and written communication skills.
